We, the Men of The Leadership Council, are excited and pleased to announce that we have confirmed reservation for Cabin Camp 3, Camp Orenda, in the Prince William Forest Park (in our Nation’s National Park system) near Triangle, Virginia as the setting of our 2026 Chesapeake Men’s Gathering!

About the Cabin Camp 3

For 2026 we have confirmed reservations for October 9 – 11, 2026 in Cabin Camp 3.
When we rent Cabin Camp 3 for our 2026 Gathering, we are renting C Unit. A Unit and B Unit are rented out separately for individuals, not groups. Please be aware that all cabin campers are obligated to pay the park entrance fee or possess a valid National Park pass.
Cabin Camp 3 C Unit has six cabins that sleep 10 in each. Additional sleeping areas include the infirmary, craft lodge and building 70, for an additional 18 sleeping spots. In each cabin there are lights, electrical outlets, bunks and mattresses. Sleeping cabins do not have heat or air conditioning. Campers should bring all gear including bedding, pillows, and towels.
There is one central restroom in the C Unit. There are also restrooms located in the dining hall, craft lodge and infirmary. We are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing floors, shower stalls, sinks, and toilets. Plungers and toilet brushes are provided. Campers should bring hand soap, detergents, and other necessary toiletries. Toilet paper is provided.
Four of the five cabin camps in Prince William Forest Park are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Each camp is composed of group of wood, stone, and brick structures constructed by the CCC and WPA workers of the Great Depression. The camps were built as summer camps that the government hoped would instill the poor children of Washington, DC with the ‘character and health-building’ benefits of the great outdoors. In World War II, the camps were used by the Office of Strategic Services as a spy training area.
